Black Widow (2021)

This movie raises the questions: Why install heavy metal security doors in your server room but leave a large air duct with an easily removable cover for the entry/exit of thieves? Why put a giant fan in the center of your evil world-control lair and neglect to put some sort of screen over it to prevent debris from sending it spiraling out of control and destroying everything?

This was a mildly entertaining film whose structure was: fight; lore; fight; lore; fight; car chase; entertaining & humorous middle section; lengthy fight; denouement. Florence Pugh as the sister and David Harbour as the father were entertaining, and Scarlett Johansson was almost as good, but Rachel Weisz was inexplicably dull. If you're on the fence, I say pass on it. If you're a fan of this type of thing, then it's a fairly good example.

"I remember when I wanted to be an actress."
